A major new version of DotNetNuke has been released containing a redesigned user interface which includes Drag & Drop support and a revised Control Panel. The new Control Panel allows for easier organisation of favourite Modules and commonly used features. This has been implemented to help increase productivity and allow more non-technical users to quickly and easily build websites.
An updated Content Editor includes a new Auto-Save and Recover features which helps prevent editors from losing their work. It also enables them to quickly track content changes and compare versions. DotNetNuke 7.0 also allows modules to be shared across multiple websites and even allows content to be shared - this helps organisation and maintenance of all website content.
Designers have also welcomed a revised CSS foundation making it easier to create better looking websites with improved cross-browser support.
