Having having spent a lot of time researching CMS platforms, Vision Engineering decided to use DNN as they felt it would be the most reliable and powerful for managing their online content. With the website designs already completed, we set about creating the DNN Skins for use in a mobile-friendly, responsive DNN framework.
Based on specific requirements, an advanced DNN module was developed which enabled Vision Engineering to showcase their entire product catalogue online - including archived and discontinued items. Extensive development was undertaken on both the public and administration areas of the custom DNN module. It was designed to seamlessly fit into the existing branding (from a public users point of view) whilst at the same time ensuring that it would be easy and logical for Vision Engineering's staff to use in administration area. The custom DNN module includes a variety of functionality such as a facet search, image gallery, product FAQs and downloads for each product.
Vision Engineering are an international company so it was crucial for the DNN website to be multi-lingual, this is something DNN supports extremely well.
