Study South West is the sister site of Herda SW. It was set up as a central portal to assist international students in gaining information about studying in the South West of England.
Study South West were looking for a brand new CMS website and logo. Due to the involvement with Herda SW it was a requirement that the design be loosely based on the Herda SW site.
The site also needed to promote different attractions within the South West such as the rural and coastal aspects of the region, associated sports and related interests. This was done visually by implementing random image functionality to all the pages, ensuring that each time a page refreshes the main image changes.
The DotNetNuke CMS allows Study South West staff to add, edit and upload content easily and quickly. Users of the site can view video files online, access case studies and search for relevant information.
It was also a requirement that the site had to meet W3C and Web accessibility guidelines where possible.
On completion of the project, the site was handed over to Study South West who now maintain and update both textual and graphical content.
