Sala International is a leading firm in records management.

Sala approached Pure Systems as they were looking to develop their online customer-facing portal. They required additions to their system which would enable their customers to order online retrievals of documents currently stored by Sala.

The project consisted of three parts:

• Bespoke development of the DNN (DotNetNuke) portal modules
• Bespoke development of a web services application enabling the interfacing between the DNN (DotNetNuke) portal and the back-office system
• Bespoke SQL development of a back-office system enabling the storing of details and scanned images of documents

Due to its flexibility, DNN (DotNetNuke), was an ideal choice for the development of this project. It can interface easily with large-scale legacy back-office systems and also allows the addition of new front-end portals to existing legacy systems.
