Pure Scenes is an online art and photographic gallery.
Pure Scenes were looking to completely re-design their existing site and transfer it into a CMS. A new logo was created with bold company colours, this was then used to determine the look and feel of the site.
The main aim of Pure Scenes is to enable artists to display, promote and sell their work online in a virtual gallery space. A secure members area was developed allowing users of the site (buyers and sellers) to register and receive updates, latest news and artist updates.
Registered sellers can create a profile which will allow them to display their artwork on the site, with an option to upload images for digital downloads. eCommerce was implemented into the CMS to create the online store, supporting the purchase of artwork and the option of having it shipped anywhere in the UK.
Search functionality was added, enabling users to search for artists/artwork based on different categories and/or keywords.
The project is still in the development stages and is expected to go live by mid-2009.
